These terms govern your use of Show Sources, operated by Show Sources Ltd.("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Show Sources provides a journalist directory, pitch composer, inbox, and related tools for public-relations work. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, but won't materially reduce paid features without 30 days' notice.
You agree NOT to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
Show Sources is a tool for legitimate press relations. When sending pitches you agree to:
You own everything you put into Show Sources — pitches, lists, templates, replies. We need a limited license to store, process, and display that content for the purpose of running the service. We won't use your content to train AI models or share it with anyone outside the sub-processors listed in our privacy policy.
The AI pitch composer is a drafting aid. You are responsible for reviewing and approving every message before it's sent. AI-generated text may contain inaccuracies, biases, or unsuitable phrasing — read it carefully. We are not liable for the content of pitches you choose to send.
We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where reasonably possible.
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that can't be excluded under English law.
You can close your account any time from settings. We can suspend or close accounts for breach of these terms. After termination we delete your data per the retention schedule in our privacy policy.
We may update these terms. Material changes (new restrictions, increased fees, reduced features) get at least 30 days' email notice to active members. Non-material changes (typo fixes, contact info) take effect immediately.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of England, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
